In today’s world, there is so much stress. With constant wild fires, shootings, and tornadoes, bad things happen so constantly that it can be hard to focus on the good things. That’s why everyone needs some time away from their work or school. Every day we spend energy on some type of activity, whether its physical energy, emotional energy, or even mental energy. Everybody needs to take a week to relax.

When we take a vacation we give our mind time to relax. Our brain is good at doing one thing at a time when we multitask heavily within our weekly lives it can overwhelm our brain (Teddy Wayne). The brain is constantly overworked every day, and when we take no time off we’re the ones to blame.
Vacations can benefit your physical health as well as your mental health.

Heart health
According to the Longitudinal Framingham Heart Study, people who do not take time off of work have significant cardiovascular disease chances. Men who don’t take breaks from work have a thirty percent more likely to have a heart attack than the average man.

Simply peace
When you vacation you let your mind have the freedom to relax and not constantly going from one task to another. You let your brain go off the clock and reflect on things of personal importance. Everything in your body needs a day off, just like how you wouldn’t work out seven days a week.

Let your body to reset
Vacations allow your body to reset itself and regain energy. This allows your body to be more energetic, relaxing let’s your body to burn less energy and regain your natural productivity.
Don’t try to convince yourself that vacations aren’t important. Don’t let fear or anxiety of work impact your relaxation. Take a vacation!
